How does Initiative 71 work?

The provisions of Initiative 71 regulate the weed smoking and consumption of stoners and control the transfer of weed products by smoke shops in the district. The law applies to smokers by stating that the possession, purchase, and transportation of up to two ounces of marijuana will be for personal use by adults 21 years and above.

As for smoke shops, I71 prohibits the sale of weed, edibles, and marijuana products. Instead, the law allows the gifting of up to one ounce of marijuana by qualified adults.
